Floods - I'm ok, but I'm concerned for Phoebe, who lives closer to the affected areas.

I know that a few of us live further north (Phoenix Metro area)...and I was quite affected by this horridness...I really couldn't believe it...
mgmtman lives in North Phoenix, and I think he's okay, but I haven't heard from him in awhile...and they released the names of the victims on Sunday if anyone is interested...including a 9 y/o girl...
My thoughts are with all the victims and their families...

Lots of people coming forward now and saying something should have been done. Hindsight is always that way . Too bad no one really payed attention , like his parents .
Hopes and prayers for you guys down under too. We never know when mother nature is going to go off on us and she can be really mean at times.

I live in Tucson. I'm 4th generation southern Arizonan and I can't help feeling ashamed that such an unbelievably horrible thing could happen here. All of my friends and family are fine but one couple that my wife and I are very good friends with were at that Safeway half an hour before it happened.

I am definitely in shock and feel sick that my city will always be associated with this one incident just as Waco is.

As far as preventing someone like this from committing such a horrible act, in this country, it's almost impossible because you have to prove in court that he is a danger to others, before he has done anything, and that is a very very difficult thing to do.

I grieve with those who had family members or friends killed as well as those who were wounded and find hope in those who acted so courageously. May such a thing never happen again anywhere.

I'm in Michigan, USA, but I've been keeping up on the horrible flooding in Queensland, Australia. My heart goes out to all affected. Such a wide area to be so seriously threatened and damaged.

My prayers go out not just to those affected by the shooting in AZ but also to all those Aussies enduring such horrible conditions.

Of all the disasters nature has in store, flooding is the worse to me. God help our friends and neighbor down under. Please let us all know if you hear from anyone. Hope help is on the way from all over the world. Time to stop and lend a hand if you can...

hate to sound harsh, but at least 20-30 people were killed the same day all over the country, did anyone care about or have vigil for them? crazy people kill often, . its their nature. sorry for the victems but they are no better than other that have been callously killed why do we make it sem so? there was atriple shooting in a bar in san jose calif. the same day, any body hear about it? nope, didnt think so.we only hear what the media wants us to hear that suits there, agenda.... austrailia has had terrible flash flooding as some of you have mentioned with like a hundred missing presumed dead. have you seen more than a blurb on the news? nope. im just glad we have these computers so we can really keep up with things .

sorry just how im feeling at the moment, tired , feverish and not really caring at this point.

hi guys! i'm here and ok...horrible horrible occurance but so encouraging that she's doing so much better! Arizona just can't get out of the news huh?
