Spent most of today battling a temperature that wasn't high enough to have me worried or going to hospital, but high enough to knock me around and make me feel completely miserable. I'm having a hard time getting it under control, too, so feel weary and exhausted and teary and simply horrible.
Accomplished:
* showered and dressed
* dishes
* cleaned up cat vomit from carpet
* made ice cream
* deadheaded a few flowers
* watched / listened to some cricket
*
some church stuff!!
I think we can all die of amazement at this point.
* looked at more of the magazines I bought on Friday. I'm glad I did: there are some great housekeeping & DIY articles, as well as some wonderful craft ideas.
I feel bad because I haven't exercised for a while, but I think that's just going to have to wait. Any exertion feels terrible at this point.
It's early, but I think I might just feed the animals and crash in bed (or on floor) with the fan and watch / listen to the cricket.
btw, to the kind person who suggested borax for the ants, sorry I didn't get back to you. My brain only holds a few pieces of information at once, so I tend not to be able to reply to every person in a tlc thread each day. Anyway, thank you for your kind suggestion. I have thought of borax myself, but am afraid to try it because I have curious cats here and I'm afraid they would walk in it or taste it and make themselves ill (or kill themselves).
Anyway, night all.
Ivy.
ps. Becky, great that the n/g tube is out! And I can't believe they give you coke in hospital. Gosh... Is that usual, or did you request it specifically, because you'd been craving it?
