Skin problems while on Remicade

Hi everyone I'm new here i was looking up Remicade Withdrawal and found this forum and well i think it's happening here cause I'm almost due for this treatment and I've been said to have a spontaneous outbreak of psoriasis never had this before and talk about chills every night for the past week and bad mood swings,small bruises on my legs also a lot of fatigue, menstruation skipping then getting it 2 times in one month i thought it was menopause too but the Doctors did a blood test and my Hormones are just fine. I hate this so much I'm on so many meds and was diagnosed with Crohn's in 97 and now for that i have severe panic attacks off and on for the past 14 years,Degenerative joint disease,Hypothyroid,Rheumatoid arthritis,Acid Reflux and now this never have skin problems before now i do. I'm going to my Rheumatologist tomorrow so i hope i can figure this out soon.

Welcome, I had problems in 6 mo. being on Remicade. Joints swelling, then skin peeling off. Very painful joints and tendons. I went to a Rheumatologist and he really could not find anything wrong except for a protein in my urine which was the Bence-Jones Protein. I was having a reaction to the Remicade. After 6 mo. of steroids, I was put on Humira and the Crohn's has been doing well. I do get some psoritic lesions, very small and I do have painful joints, but nothing like the Remicade gave me. So I don't complain to the doctor yet. I still have a good quality of life. The TNF meds all seem to have the same side effects. Hope this helped.
