 I have recently started Entocourt and Flagyl. Now today I have noticed that my cheeks are red and I can feel my heart race. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? confused

These don't seem normal side effects. You might want to call your doc and report them. My daughter took both at the same time, but the strongest side effect was oral thrush.

I agree. You should call your doctor.

Flushing and fast heartbeat are potential signs of hypersensitivity to Flagyl.

If you develop a rash of any kind, contact your doctor right away.

Hope it has passed and you are doing fine now.

I react to any sulfa based drug with these symptoms and other symptoms..I have tiredness, pins and needles, and headaches with Flagyl. It does go away after I take it, and I have not had any lasting neuro-effects..

Thanks for the replies. I decided this morning to not take anymore of the flagyl. I will talk to my doctor in the am. I can not take imuran or remicade do to allergic reactions. I do feel somewhat better today. Just some pains in between my shoulder blades that I get when I am flairing. Does anyone else get this pain.

The doctor thinks that I was experiencing an allergic reaction. Needless to say No more Flagyl for me. Waiting for test results to see what is next. A lot of bloating and intestinal movement. I hate when that happens. Time will tell I suppose. Thanks to all who responded.

I know reactions to meds can be just awful..I reacted to alot of CD meds over the years..The meds vs CD symptoms can be hard to navigate at times. I think that is why the doctors have been reluctant to pull me off of Predisone. Different types of meds work for different CD patients better than others. CD doctors can have different bias when it comes to treatment as well. Hope your next round of meds work well!
