It has been a looong time since i have posted on here. I have had my large intestine removed in 05, 1foot of my small in 09, due to this dd. I have been having lots of stomach pains, lack of control with my stools. Getting sick and tired of padding up with t/p. Went to family doctor and asked for some Pred. He had no problem. Now i am a buzz head. That stuff really wires me. But it really settles my chrohns down. Started my dose Monday at 60mgs. Weening of 5mgs a week. I have been on this stuff a few times. I usually start with this dosage. seems to work really well for me. One of the things i hate about
it is in a few weeks i will be shaking alot.
I work in a chemistry lab. Talked to my boss, tonight about it. I told him some of my work i will not be able to do, for the simple reason of spilling something on myself. just not worth it. He has no problem with that. Will have someone do the things i cannot do. My employer really understands this disease, because i have talked to them about it. They have been very understanding the last 6yrs. Great place to work. Been here for 27yrs. Good employee. That is why they have no problem helping me out when i need it. What comes around goes around.
