diarrhea to constipation on remi

Since starting remicade (about one month ago - I've done two doses) I start getting constipated about 6 days after remi - stay constipated for days until I take a stool softener - then I have diarrhea for a week at a time no matter what I eat and then I go back to constipation for days...?!! Ideas?

Same deal here.
Going for my 4th infusuin next Wednesday. I am taking Miralax; one dose every 36 hours or so and am approaching some sort of balance. Sadly I have to prep for a colonoscopy on Thursday next and this is going to through my constipation/Miralax/diarrhea tightrope act completely out of balance!
Drat!
I also drink a fair bit of water to help balance things.

i get the same deal..had it before the remmi and still do. I don't take anything for it unless it's been more than 3 days without going, cause when i do it usually means lots of blood. Going for my 4th infusion in 2 months..

blue, snivler, tak. have any of you guys had surgery? the reason I ask is, I've had 9ft of small bowel removed(diseased). I just had my 6th dose of rem and I have no problem at all, it could be that I have so much surgery that I have dumping syndrome, I have to slow bowels down with vicodin on occassion. I feel better believe me, getting rid of all that bile from the night before.

thats weird, so the people that havn't had surgery seem to get C from rem. the people who have had surgery don't have C. I hope other folks will come on and chime in. interesting.

I started Remicade about a month ago. No surgeries yet for me. I'm feeling pretty much normal with the BMs...though I'm on antibiotics, so that might change when I stop them.
