Hi there, I posted the other day and I wanted to ask a few questions from you all if I may. I am not diagnosed yet, and I know that this isn't medical advice, and I really appreciate your answers and time!
I was wondering what a bloody stool could look like? I know red blood would be obvious, and I also understand that bleeding from higher up or the small intestine would not appear bright red. I also know what bleeding from a hemmeroid would look like...
Would rust/orange stool possibly be because of blood? I also have tiny pieces of pink red blood that is thick or mucusy throughout my stool.
Even tough my stools are soft and mush, they are tiny and not moving well. I've been worried about
some sort of blockage. I took several doses of Miralax and it has made things more liquid, but the stool is emerging in drops. And very very small amounts.
I've had an ache in my lower abdomen for quite some time, but had not connected it to bowel issues. I am now having stronger pain there, and also just above my bellybutton. I've had D for some time, along with bouts of major periods of D in the past, along with many other issues.
The strange thing is that my bowels seem to be getting worse, but my gas and bloating has decreased.
I could go on, but I won't. ;) I have an appt with a GI but it is a month out, and I know that any proceedures will probably be an additional month out from that appt. In the mean time I am nervous I am going to end up with some serious complication and in the ER.
I am now worried about
eating food! I don't want to get blocked further! I'm not eating fiber, gluten, veggies, fruit. Been pretty much low residue, except I broke down and had Mexican food a week and a half ago and that is when things went from moving (but thin or D) to nearly stopped. (had refried beans, lettuce, corn chips, rice, chicken, guacamole).
Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated, although I am not diagnosed as anything yet, I know you all have more experience in these areas.
I'm so glad there is a place where I can ask all my embarrassing questions!
