I'll be honest, I binge on the weekend. Probably 7-8 pints of Coors Light, then onto the Vodka and Blackcurrent and then maybe Captain Morgans to finish the night .The day following St. Patrick's day was the worse hangover I ever had.
Although when I flare I stay house bound, just don't have the energy to even move. Thankfully I'm feeling great, long may it continues.

I drink on occasion but only when I am feeling good and am not on the vicodin for pain. I'll admit, in college.. I didn't care and drank a lot - even a bit after college but it's just not worth it anymore.
I do love having some red wine every now and again though :)

I pretty much don't drink any more. I did 1 little shot last year and in burned in places it shouldn't after the initial burn. It worried me.....plus my meds have the no alcohol warnings. That is hard to avoid if you are taking pills every 2 to 4 hours.

I have to say I'm surprised at the amount of drinkers. I started this thread after hitting it a little too heavy a couple weeks ago and having the worst hangover I've had in like 6 years. The following week, however, may have been close to the best I've felt in the last couple years... I was baffled by it. Drinking hasn't really seemed to bother me but doing it to excess like that I figured it would.

The only alcohol I can drink is Patron Tequila. For some unknown reason, it does not make me bleed. I believe because it is because it is pretty pure without a lot of additives. I do not drink but maybe 1 or 2 drinks per month, if that.

Hmm... Never thought of the purity of the alcohol in relation to Crohn's.. I normally prefer either whiskey or beer but vodka would be the purest.

I enjoy wine (preferably with bubbles) or fruity cocktails (like strawberries blitzed with bacardi and cointreau) when I am not flaring i.e. on steroids or antibiotics, but I don't drink during the working week so I guess that makes me a weekend binger ;)
