Hi sagebunny, I have been diagnosed with Crohns for about 10 years now. I have had trouble with my stomach for
years, went to the Drs but after many many trips was told I had IBS, wasn't told what that was or what to eat or not eat, all I know was when I ate I would blot and cramp terribly. Later on in the years my back started hurting, bad.
I had I don't know how many shots in my back, so finally a Dr told me to double up on my pain meds. The day after
that I was back at the Dr, couldn't hardly walk, so he gave me pain patches, told me to put one on...ok, the next day, back at the Drs office in severe pain, he told me to put 2 patches on and double up on pain meds...anyway, just about dead, I couldn't walk I was so sick, throwing up it was terrible, and the Dr in the ER did a CAT scan and told me I had
Crohns,. So they did surgery and yes indeed, I have Crohns. I think about all the years that I have suffered; the Dr in the ER said Crohns was the last thing they looked for,. So I am doing Remicade every 8 weeks and it helps...There are days when I feel so good and then there are days I can't do anything...I hope you have all great days. Hope to talk to you later...take care
