so i have a question..... what is white clay colored looking stool mean? anyone have that cause mine has been like that for the last five days?

Did you recently have a barium test? That can cause the white stool, but it doesn't usually last 5 days. Otherwise, I think you should bring this to your doctors attention. Hugs!

i had to drink this white stuff on tuesday for an exray of intestines yes .... but how long is the white stool from that would you say?

I would suggest then that you start drinking lots of water to get that stuff flushed out of your system. If your system has been slow the barium is usually the culprit. Maybe some milk of magnesia will help to clean it out of your system. Good luck!

Mine usually lasts no more than 48 hours because I have chronic diarrhea several times a day, so my system gets flushed fast.
If you're not having much diarrhea, I'd say it could go on longer.
I think Nanners is right about drinking more water, and milk of magnesia (if it won't hurt).

It's more than likely from your barium test that your stool colour is still white...everyone's transit time is different so 5 days is not that unusual...I'm not sure if milk of magnesia is white in colour or not, but if it is then it could cause you to continue having white stools, drinking lots of water is good, don't worry, it should soon go back to normal colour for you.

I got scared to death with white clay colored stool.. Had constant heart burn and had been eating Tums.. stopped the Tums and the white stopped too. What goes in must come out! Red Velvet cake once gave me a dreadful fright too!

ok good lol thought i had another problem ... i felt like i was fixing my car ... when you fix one problem you always tend to notice another lol
