So much pain

Hello Everybody. Last Wednesday morning I had a Bladder scope. Doctor said shortest he had ever done, 90 seconds. They gave me three numbing shots and as soon as they got the tube and camera in me, I was screaming in pain and crying mercy. They were able to see another fistula hole that is coming thru my private area and that was it. I need to have my GI look up my behind to see if I have another fistula coming out of large bowel. But since the doctor did the scope my pain in my bladder has tripled, if not more. No matter what i take my Loratab 10 or Percaset does not help. When I try to sleep at night I am up ever hour going pee and it hurts. Also, have a lot of blood coming out. Has anybody here had bladder problems or fistulas? Has anybody had so much pain they just don't know what to do to get it under control ( pain pills don't work, doctors don't what to do)? I am at the point where I just know what to think or do, it is become very frustrating that I have all these doctors work with me and nobody can give me answers or relief. One more thing I have been think about going to a pain clinic but everybody tells me not to, anybody have any success at these? Good luck, Mr.D

Please, please call the urologist [I assume a urologist did your bladder scope] first thing in the AM and let him know of the increase in symptoms. In all likelihood you have an infection from the intestinal contents leaking into the bladder. The blood is also not a good sign.

If the urologist's office is non-responsive, call whichever of your doctors is most accomodating and get in there to have a urine test for an infection. If none of them can get you in, go to an urgent care facility or ER. Bladder infections can cause lots of pain and frequent urination.
