Well I am fully convinced that I am in a full on flare with my Crohns.  Have left messages for the GI to contact me, as I am miserable at this point.  Having lots of diarrhea, joint pain, cramps, nausea and EXTREME fatigue.  Gone home the past 2 days and slept 3-4 hours and then got up took a shower and went right back to bed.  Haven't felt this rough in a long long time. 

All of the Crohns mods are not doing well at this time either.  So you may be seeing some of the UC mods around some, as I kinda need some help right now.

If you are a praying person I sure would appreciate you throwing up a few for me.  This is really kicking my butt, so much so, that Prednisone sounds really good right now (although I prefer Entocort).  So hard being this sick and trying to work too.  Its heck just trying to get out of the house in the mornings.  Hopefully will hear from my doc soon and he will have some much needed answers.  Hugs!

Awww, Gail--I hope you get it under control very soon. Sorry you are to hear your Crohn's is rearing it's ugly head right now. Send a prayer up for you now! ((HUGS))

I'm sending up prayers for you Nanners, I hope you feel better soon. I admire you for going to work and helping so many of us here at the same time. I'm currently in a flare too, so just getting up to shower and do dishes is a major thing right now. So I hope you find relief soon.

Aww Gail. (((hug))). I am sorry things are rough now. Sending healing energy your way. I don't know how you get up and go to work. Heck just getting up and going to the coffee pot is exhausting for me right now. I cannot even imagine myself holding down a job. Hope things get easier. Fast.

Gail, Sorry to hear your feeling so crummy. I too can't imagine having to get up and go to a job and pretend to be pleasant when you feel like crap. Rest and feel better soon.

Oh I was hoping by now maybe you would have gotten some relief. Sometimes life really isn't fair at all, and life is really dumping on you right now. I don't know how you do it. I have been out of work since February and every time I think I will go back I have a few days that kick me in the butt and I think, maybe not just yet. Luckily I only work a few days a week and I can take the time off, I don't know how others do it who have no choice. There are days when just getting the grocery shopping done is more that I can handle (that would be today!)

I will be keeping you in my thoughts and hope that you get on something before the weekend so that you can start to feel better soonish!

So sorry the DD is flaring, Nanners. I hope your GI will get back to you soon.
Pred or budesonide sounds like a good idea.

It really does seems to be hitting some of us hard lately. Believe it or not, I'm thinking about discussing
elective surgery with my GI next Thursday. I'm not getting any relief even with pred!! So my friend, I
know exactly how you feel. I know that doesn't make you feel any better, but wanted you to know that
I'm truly thinking and worrying about you. Try and stay strong!! (((Hugs)))

Sending prayers your way. It is a terrible feeling just trying to get to work everyday. I call it my "survial mode".   I know you feel bad when pred. sounds good.  I pray you are feeling better very soon!!!

My hope and prayer was that you were not going to hit blown crud feeling, now my hope and prayer is that you feel much better soon.  Take it easy as much as you can and keep napping if it works for you!

Thank you all for your kind words.  I did speak with the doc yesterday and he has called in a rx for Entocort.  Also wants me to do a stool test to rule out C-Diff, which I really doubt I have.

I did have that bronchitis out break a couple months ago, but I only used the antibiotics for 3 days as they made me too sick to my stomach.  So I am kinda doubting that its CDiff, but I will do the test, if nothing more than to prove to him its my Crohns. 

Still feeling like crap and if it continues much longer I will go back to him and ask him to put me out of work, as this is getting to be really hard on me.  I am sure the Entocort is not going to work as fast as Pred does, so I know I will be feeling bad a little longer.  Thanks again for your support!!

Hope you start feeling better real soon. I have flaring for three months. No fun, kinda depressing because I lost all my remission weight gain.
I put out good thoughts into the universe for you.

I am so sorry you are feeling so bad now. I know that all the stress you have been under these last few weeks added to the mix.. also with the other surgeries this past year.. it all adds up. I'm hoping you can relax a little. I can't seem to.. so I hope you are better than me at it. Please think about what I had said some weeks back about trying to get on SSD. You don't need to be worrying about work when you are so weak and in pain. I am sure with your history they will accept your application on the first or second try.

In either case I hope you start feeling better soon. I will be sending out good thoughts your way

Gail, many thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery from this flare for you. Don't try to do too much, just rest and take care of yourself.
