I had a colonoscopy 12 hours ago and I am still going like I am prepping. I have had 2 glasses of juice and a popsicle and I am going still like I am prepping! How long does this last for? thanks

Usually things don't stabilize for me for about
24-48 hours after my scope.

ughh.. ok, do you just do like clear liquids until it does? I wasn't eating much before I went in now I think water is my breakfast, lunch & dinner!

Usually after my scopes, I continue with my regular diet. If you consume nothing but liquids, your stool won't have a chance to solidify and you will go liquid.

This happened to me after my second scope. I felt like my stomach had been reemed out and it was sore. I was still having D and it felt as if someone had punched me repeatedly in the stomach. It was sore like after a really intense ab workout accept internally. From what i understand this is normal after a scope for a few days and you should go back to normal soon. Stay on a bland diet and keep hydrated. Keep the faith!
