Hope someone might have some insight. I have Chrons and had bowel recession surgery August 2nd. 10 days later I was back in the hospital obstructed again with a massive inflammation blockage. I had a second surgery August 18th. 2 of 4 Doctors were saying that maybe I should have not stopped taking the Humira injections before the first surgery. Other Doctors are not sure how it happened. I am having a hard time getting closure on this subject. Has anyone had any complications post surgery due to Humira or Remicade? Any insight or ideas are super appreciated.

I voted no, but I was taking Humira to heal a fistula, which I ended up needing surgery for. It turned out I had Crohns inflammation in part of my bowel, even though I didn't have any horrible symptoms except pain. So maybe the Humira didn't fix my fistula, but kept my flare from turning into horrible diarrhea. I am off it now...
