4 u ladies please help!!!!!

cry   Hi girls I have had Crohn's disease since 23 years now and I'm 35 now and had numerous bowel resections,,ruptures,,fistula's,,abscesses,,several bowel obstructions,,dilatation's u name it I had a stream of bad luck as I'm sure u can all understand and likely went through yourself,,I have tried Remicade,,Methotrexate,,Humira,,and the huge other med list now I have short bowel syndrome and still suffering from flare-ups and narrowing,,I get my scope done the third week of September cause of the following symptoms 1) Pencil like stool  2) Blood in stool 3) Severe pain in my right lower quadrant 4) Pain in the pelvis area and down the leg 5) Blood in my urine....

       The thing I didn't mention is I haven't had a period since the last 20 years with no explanation why,,and I guess I'm wondering is it possible for a period to return after so many years and my body is still not well,,or could it be a fistula bowel to vagina I had one b4 but it was a rectal fistula I'm terrified really with this biopsy 4 cancer and now the bleeding fresh blood from both ends someone please reassure me that everything is gonna b fine or if anyone went through this b4 can u give me any advise....

onthecan, if you're bleeding from both parts, I think it's highly suspicious of something not right. If the bleeding is heavy or severe, or you have a lot of pain, or are worried, you should go in to ER.
Fresh red blood doesn't sound good to me, in stool, urine & now the womanly parts. It sounds like it could be a fistula and a bad flare up, but there are other possibilities too. If the bleeding is not heavy and you are comfortable waiting, you should call your doc first thing and ask for advice.

I've had womanly bleeding issues too, but never a combination like what you described. My issue was inflammation of my uterus, likely due to the crohn's.

Try to stay calm.

Blood in urine is not the same as blood from the vagina. Bladder fistula? Bladder infection? Both?

It is always possible to resume menstruation, unless you have premature ovarian failure. To put your mind at ease you might want to ask your OB/Gyn for a baseline FSH test. This will show whether your ovaries are functioning at any level.

Have you consulted other gastroenterologists and gynaecologists? my periods are always regular but my gastro had told me 5 years ago that my chances of getting pregnant are almost 0 because of scar tissus from my resection surgery.

dont stress too much since it will make it worse!

Thank u ladies 4 all your replies I live in a small town and my gastro doc is 6 hours away and a ob gyn doc I don't know how I could find one but I know there is none around here,,the thing is I didn't have a period since 23 years now so I don't think it is a period but fistulas I did and I don't know what 2 do any more the docs around here ask us what we think cause there is no others 4 advise should I take a trip 2 the city cause I think I'm starting 2 hemorrhage now and I'm terrified..

It isn't clear from your posts if you are having vaginal bleeding or bleeding from the bladder. If you are having heavy vaginal blood flow it doesn't sound like a bowel issue. There should be some kind of women's health clinic near you that you can get into for a consult.

HI onthecan i am new here but imo i think you should be taking advice form a doc asap bleeding from both ends is not something to be second guessed at imo at the very least you could be come anemic ? so you really need this checking out
i hope you get help with this problem soon and i know it's not easy to do but please try and stay calm over worrying and panic only makes things worse i know i'm the worlds biggest worrier chin up i'm sure they will sort it out (Hugs)
