Hello everyone. I just had a colonoscopy and had swelling in my iliem, I spelled that wrong but anyway I get a infusion of remicade this week and am on 40 mg of predisone. Does anyone elses stomach just constantly grumble and growl so loud it is killing me The dr gave me percocet that is helping but something is definately going on big time. I have a lot of diaherria too

My stomach makes a lot of noise when I'm digesting, depending on the food. It can rumble, growl, gurgle...it's got a whole sound effects CD of it's own!

Is yours painful? Mine typically isn't, but I consider it just a symptom of having digestive issues!

My tummy likes to talk alot to me too. Usually when it gets super noisy its possibly a stricture or inflammation causing a narrow area. Hopefully the Remi will take care of that. Hugs!

This happens to me occasionally. However, I found it happening daily, and very loud a while back. Burping a lot, and very smelly gas. Doctor dx'd me with a SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) and prescribed antibiotics for a few months (flagyl for 2 months followed by cipro for 2 months.) I probably would have only had a 30 or 60 day course of antibiotics, but as I was headed to surgery soon and the dr knew I had a narrow area, we kept with the drugs to keep the SIBO from reoccurring.

My stomach still gurgles even after surgery. It's just gas right now. Before that I'd have pain/cramping associated with the noises, they always assumed it was from the stricture...
