So there is now an issue that my medicaid may have been denied and I may have been accepted to something else that my GI does not accept. I'm not sure if that's the case because online it says I've been accepted but they sent a paper that says I've been denied. So now I don't know which it is and I'm worried. I'm sorry, I know it may sound stupid but it took me two long years of doctors telling me I was crazy and that ignored abnormal masses on my mri's, poking and proding at the fistula and saying there was nothing there,etc. I hate to say it but there are way too many terrible doctors and finding a good one is the hardest thing. I now have a wonderful GI and wonderful colorectal surgeon. They were the first ones who actually believed me and didn't think I was losing my mind. I can call my GI for anything and he'll call me back either the same day or the next. And if I need medicine, he'll send it directly to my pharmacy so I don't have to go all the way to his office to pick up the order. I really don't want to start the hunt for a new GI because I'm happy with my GI. All I can do is wait until they call me back from the office.
