question about Cimzia

I know I have asked this question before but now I am really confused.  Has anyone taking Cimzia been able to get a pen version?  I was told on here that there was one available and my dr also said that when I had to decide if I wanted Cimzia or Humira.

Now that I feel Humira isn't working and am thinking about switching, I did some research.  I didnt' see anything on Cimzia's website about a pen so I emailed them.  I actually spoke with a person today and they told me that they don't make a pen for the drug, only a prefilled syringe.

I really hate needles and can not see myself stabbing a needle into myself.  I can deal with the pen though.  So I don't know where to go from here now and I starting to worry a little. 

If anyone is using a pen version of Cimzia, where do you get it from?

Never heard of a pen form of Cimzia. I was freaked out at first when it came to putting a needle into myself, but honestly it's not bad at all. It's just mentally challenging to overcome the fact that you're about to stab yourself with something, which really freaked me out at first. But the needles are small and barely hurt at all when injecting if you do it slowly and if you let the medicine thaw for 30 minutes before it'll barely feel like anything.

If push comes to shove, maybe call your GI's office and see if the Nurses there can administer it to you?
