Cimzia and entocort ec 3mg

Had EDG and Colonoscopy today. Dr says I am a mess and I was like Duh! He added entocort ec 3mg 3 times a day. Also said that if I dont show signs of improvement within 2 months he will increase the dose of Cimzia.

1. Entocort ec any bad side effects and does it work better than predisone? I know its expensive

2. Increase dose of Cimzia does anyone do more than the 400mg a month?

Got to wait 10 days for all the Bio results to come back. Dr did alot of them and he found fluid somewhere he wasnt suppose to so he sent that to the lab as well says it could be an infection. I am already on Cipro for a UTI.

For me, I didn't have any side effects with Entocort. When Cimzia stopped working for me, we split the dose to one shot every 2 weeks. I read something that said there's no indication of success in increasing the dose. Splitting it didn't work for me, though. Adding Imuran didn't work, either. I'm switching to remicade soon. I've been on Cimzia since last February and Imuran since October.

when first Dx i was on entrocort 3mg x 3 daily for 3 months (also asacolon which i'm still on) and hand on heart i can honestly say that the 3 months i was on entrocort was my best period...i felt "normal" during this period and for a short while afterward..Slainte
