These past 2 weeks have been heck. I've been back and forth between ER visits, classes and doctor's appointments and I'm just plain exhauseted. I'm tired of getting 4 hours of sleep a day, studying up late in the bathroom only to make mediocre grades. For some reason I've been throwing various pity parties a day and just cry at a drop of the hat which is abnormal me. I'm trying to decide if it's from birth control pills or the prednisone. I usually live by the rule "Suck it up buttercup." The pain has been too much in my upper abdomen/lower abdomen . The weather isn't helping the joint issues either.
I have been so nauseated lately and I think that food is sitting in my stomach for way too long. This afternoon I was still having reflux and spitting up my dinner from the night before. I've been trying to eat through the pain so I don't lose weight but it's not worth it anymore. What do you eat when you have to that doesn't make you so nauseated/throw up? Or should I jus not eat at all when I'm this full?(literally food just sits in my stomach for HOURS it seems).
I leave tomorrow to get admitted into the hospital to try Humira and maybe Imuran too. I'm imfamous for allergic reactions/not responding to treatments so my GI wants to keep an eye on me for a few days and monitor my flare. Hope this will help. Till then, what helps you Crohnies that have the disease in the upper GI with the nausea/poor appettite?
