Dusy...I too have had all the same symptoms you do. As for surgery, I agree with the others.I'd say from my experience and others I've read about
on here and other sites for the last 3 years, there is a 99.99999% chance there will not be any surgery at this point. Very very few people I have read about
have had to have surgery at all and certainly not at this point. So I'd say your chances of surgery are very tiny and then only after your Dr. tries any all methods they can for dealing with your problem (which 1st will most likely be your diet). As for the biopsy, you will most likely be asleep and you will feel nothing. Nor will you feel anything afterwards. It will be over before you know it. So try not to worry about
that part. It's really pretty easy and is over from when you go in to when you come out in a few hours...at least it was for me and for others I've read about
. As for your next step...read read read and keep posting, so we can help you with any questions or fears. Read what I've posted for you on another post you made.I've been thru the same as you. Try not to be scared. Yes it takes a long time to get into Dr. and that really drags out our getting help. So in my estimation we really need to try to help ourselves as much as we can (read all you can on the internet...you will learn a great deal that will help you).To top off the typical long time in between appointments, tests and scopes and even a biopsy can be wrong..they were with me. So even if they say you don't have it, well, you need to know they can be wrong, but you also need to know that to a large degree you can help yourself get healthier and to very possibly be in o pain and symptoms. Diet will go a long ways to help you. Also you can get some things at the health food store that are anti-inflammatory (SP) (but ask your Dr. before to be sure your Dr. is OK with taking these)such as 10000 MSM daily and 500 mg Curcumin daily. they really do help (my GI knows I take them and has told me to keep on taking them as they do help in his estimation). Also, see my other posts today and you'll get a better idea...hang in there you'll be OK. My guess, (from my own experience) is that diet will help a great deal. It may not take care of all of your stomach problem, but it will go a very long ways. You'll be Ok..it will take effort and work on your part, but you will be Ok, just don't let fear get hold of you. That will not help.It will just stop you from doing what you need to do to help yourself. Keep in mind that there are many of us here who will be glad to chat with you and give you an encouraging word and support you.
