Is Retin A okay with Crohn's?

I’m curious if anyone has any experience in this area. Is it safe to take Retin A with Crohn’s? I have mild acne that I want to get rid of and the doctor who prescribed Retin A knows I have Crohn’s…but doctors don’t know everything.

 

The only meds I’m currently on are 4.5 mg of LDN daily. Thanks!!!

 

DS has Crohn's and was on retin-a for many months and had no adverse effects(also on pentasa and azathioprine for crohn's)

I did worry initially in case the vit A  got absorbed through skin and affect his liver but there were no issues.

It is ok. It is an iso of what is in accutane. i wondered myself because I used years ago and then developed crohn's later on. I was scared because of all the accutane commercials commercials on tv. But, my info is from lots of independent research using google.
