Yes, Crohn's is linked to depression. There are studies which show
that, but even without studies it would be obvious from anecdotal evidence that having Crohn's can cause depression and anxiety. Obviously, the greater the impact Crohn's has on your life the more likely it is to make you depressed: who wouldn't be depressed at least some of the time if they had to undergo multiple surgeries, give up work and hobbies due to fatigue, endure debilitating pain, etc.? But when Crohn's is mild or in remission the depression should go away, unless you have other reasons for being depressed.
