please start on the yogurt. It is an important part of the program. As you know the program is based on killing the bad bugs in your guts and planting the good bugs in a fertile environment. The diet will kill the bad ones but you need something to replace them with. If you do not take the yogurt please consider SCD legal probiotic suppliments. If you go the suppliment route it is very important that you use only SCD legal ones. You do not want to introduce the wrong bugs at this time.
As your taste buds change I promise the yogurt will get better. There are tons of folks like you and me. Did not taste good upfront but now it tastes great.
I am well along the healing path so I can eat fruit. I take frozen organic strawberries, blueberries, dark cherries and what ever else I have (organic freshly picked kiwi, last week at the market). Add it to the organic whole milk yogurt. On top I add some homemade vanilla extract and some Penzy's real cinnomin. At night I might add some local honey. This is low carb, and super healthy and tasty. Some put a stick blender to the above and make a creamy smoothy.
Some drip it and make a savory cheese. You can drip it, add capers and use it as a first class shmear for some lox. Others make ice cream. Tons of ways to make the yogurt to your taste buds.
This is really strong stuff. You can not buy any probiotic that comes close (almost a trillion lac per cup of yogurt). Again depending on where you are will govern how slow you go. Some start with a 1/4 teaspoon. I started at 1/2 a cup and never had any issues. But please do not go too quick.
