hi i am looking for a good down to earth expert in crohns disease in brooklyn or manhattan who is not arrogant.

i saw one gi doctor who told e he is no expert in crohns but hs partner treats crohns -i want the best i am in alot of pain. please help me thank you

Sorry to hear your having alot of pain.

thank you for your quick response i will give them a call. I hope he is not a doctor who is always doing seminars . Does he do the colonoscopy? I need to get one I had a CT with contrast that shows I have mild crohns whatever that means but with the crohns and dibetes I am always running around with diarrhea and cant eat because Im afraid too

Dr Ullman does his Colonoscopies himself and only on Tuesdays. Not sure about the other Docs.
I do highly recommend Dr Ullman. However, it is a busy practice. If you need an appt ASAP and he is booked, do not hesitate to take an appt with another G.I there.

If you do Remicade, they have an infusion center on the same floor right across the hall.

I see Dr. Present in NYC.
He is known as one of the best Drs. for treating Crohn's but he's always out of town doing lectures and seminars and he's very old.
There are a few other Dr's in his office that are supposed to be top notch.
Try calling his office 212 861 200 and see if you can see one of his colleagues.
