Welcome to the forum. Some here have had problems with Remicade and Humira, others have gone into remission with them with few side effects. I have not tried any of them so I will not comment on their safety or side effects.
But if you have no health insurance and are worried about
the cost then it would not hurt to try some alternative treatments. Diet modification can be as simple as avoiding gluten foods for a couple of weeks to see if you are sensitive to gluten. Here is a thread describing many of our experiences. There are more comprehensive diets such as the SCD and Maker's diet. Supplementing with probiotics has helped many of us.

I have not tried it either, but it is very inexpensive, has very few side effects, and there are some here who have found it to be very effective. Most GIs will probably not recommend it since it is a relatively new treatment for Crohn's but any GP or PCP doctor can prescribe it for you.
