Question to Ladies: Mittelschmerz or a flare up?

I have always suffered from mid-cycle pain. It used to come and go and I used to treat it with painkillers. However, today I woke up with painful mushy d ( it has always been mushy for 2 1/2 months now). Today's d made me very dizzy and i have severe lower right quadrant pain, fatigue and back pain.I took an antispasmodic but it didn't work. Two days ago, I had severe knee pain; walking was very painful. I can't take a strong painkiller injection as it would irritate my stomach. Why would mittelschmerz cause d? I know that menses exacerbates Crohn's symptoms a week prior to it but this is the first time it causes severe d.

During my cycle & the week before I have horriable stomach pain & usually don't even go to school because I'm throwing up or using the bathroom nonstop. Sometimes I'm even bleeding out of the rectum my pains are so bad! It subsides as my menses subside. Sounds normal to me. When I was on BC to regulate my menses due to my severe flare, it helped some with the pains.

Forgot to mention that soiling (fecal leakage) is awful no matter how hard I clean myself. I had to change my underpants several times a day.

Right after I got my period back after surgery, I get awful lower right quad pain, watery D, and nasty gas. These past couple of cycles, I've had some butt leakage about 2 weeks before my period starts and right until it's over. I always, always think I'm flaring and flip out! Then my period comes and I'm done until next cycle. It's always been like this for me and when I'm in an active flare, it makes the situation a lot worse.

My mom and sister, both who don't have Crohn's, has the same thing around their cycles too.

I've always had watery d and lots of pain the days before my period (when I used to have it - have had an endometrial ablation).

Thank you Tooth and Leebie3. I am used to having this before menstruation but mid cycle is weird for me but I'll try to cope.
