Need advice... Not really Crohns related.

I don't have many friends and the one friend I would talk to about this is my roommate, as she is a little biased about the situation. I moved to Seattle in January looking for a job, since then I have only found a part time retail job and I haven't even started that yet. My dad left me a trust for housing, medical, school, so my expenses are being paid. The only thing is that my expenses are around $1500 a month and I feel like I'm waisting my inheritance at the age of 23. My question is this, should I move back home where I won't really have any expenses and don't have a job or should I stay here where even with a part time job I will still be going in the red every month. I also have a roommate who will be homeless if I move home. I just don't know what to do. I feel like my life is spiraling out of control.

Go with your Heart.  Do what is best for You.  I myself, received an inheritance at 21.  I blew it on whatever.   So if you can invest it, invest it.  could mean alot at an older age.    Just my two cents. 

I agree, you have to put yourself first and do what's best for you, afterall you are the one with CD and it sounds like your current situation working part time ect, will more than likely dwindle aways your inheritance...and as mentioned above, your roommate will survive and you can give her enough notice so she can find another roommate.

First and foremost you have to decide what you want with the rest of your life? Do you have plans to learn a trade, go to school and get a career? How sick are you? Can you work and do school on line and get a degree or learn a trade that will lead to full time work. I have a friend who just retired as a police officer and is now going to nursing school to start a new career. He is 46.

Use your money for school or to advance yourself. Don't just throw it away. If you can go to school in Seattle and pay your bills than great. Othewise move back home and get your life in order.
