I HAVE A POSTING QUESTION

 This is to anyone that can help me understand something that occured yesterday when I replyed to a post. 

I have mentioned from time to time that I am a total novice to the computer since I just got my first one a few months ago.

So, I need some help, I replyed to a post yesterday titled "Antispasmodics", and shortly after I replyed, I received a notice via email from the Admistration notifying me that someone (I won't mention who) also replyed to this post.

This post was not mine, I just replyed, so why did the Administration notify me about this?

I don't know if I clicked on something I shouldn't have or what.

I know this probably sounds like a really dumb question to some of you, but I truly don't understand, so would someone please explain why I got this email, I would really appreciate an explanation.

p.s.  I emailed Administration yesterday, but have not heard anything back.

You may have had the "Notify me of reply postings by e-mail" box checked, which means that when someone replies after you, you are sent an email notification.

Next time, if you'd rather not be notified, just make sure that the box isn't checked when you click "Submit". That should do the trick.
