If you have the money and the time, I would recommend going to the Cleveland Clinic. I was really happy with my recent visit. If you're interested, I can give you names of great gastroenterologists who specialize in Crohn's and IBD.
If that's not possible, your best bet is to look up the profiles of physicians in your area. For example, if they are a member of a practice, there will usually be a "Staff" or "about Us" link on their website. From there, you can view information on specific doctors. You want to look for Crohn's or Inflammatory Bowel Disease in the "Interests" section of the profile. Some GI's are broad in their interests, while others are more specific. You want someone whose interests are more limited to IBD.
The process is pretty much the same for hospitals. You can look up doctors on their hospital's website. Just go to Departments, then Gastroenterology, and then Physicians. These profiles are usually more thorough, and will list Education, Training, Clinical Interests, and Publications. You shouldn't have any trouble finding a doctor who specializes IBD.
I hope this helps. Good luck!
