On May 31st, I got invited by TED.com to Vancouver to be part of their global audition search for their TED 2013 line up. I talked about
Crohn's - mostly about
my journey, but why this disease needs awareness, and why it matters.
I thought I should share this with all my fellow Crohnie's. :)
Here it is!Now here comes the shameful plug part:
The top rated talks go to California next year for the huge conference. I would get 18 minutes to talk about
Crohn's. If you could sign up on ted.com and rate me from 1-5 on the side, you'd be doing me such a huge favour. Even if you just watch, it counts towards who makes it.
While part of this is "hey, I really want to do this", another part is completely selfless: I want people to know what we go through, and this is the first step.
thank you so much for your time.
