Weight loss from Colonoscopy Prep

How many pounds do you guys generally shed after going through prep? I had my scopes on Tuesday and noticed I am down about a pant size still today. I was never large to begin with, about 150-160 lbs floating. I fluctuate between the two and recently stopped drinking soda but I dont like losing weight. Always a bad sign for me.

When I had my colonoscopy back in January, I went down from 155 pounds to 144 ... Hope you're feeling well! :)

It's generally a loss of fluids. It's not uncommon to lose 10-15 pounds because of prep. Make sure you rehydrate well.

I feel very well but can't seem to get my weight back. How long did it stay off for you guys?

I didn't eat for about 3 days last week during my prep. I still feel like a lightweight today. But I tried hard this weekend to recover by eating most of a quart of ice cream.

I was on prep for one day. Duralax and Miralax. Felt like I lost all my weight. I've been pounding calories and can't get back. darn metabolism. Even beer won't help. That's practically pounds in a bottle haha.
