I have Crohn's Disease, I was diagnosed August 13, 1996, the reason I remember the exact day is because it was my mother's birthday. My mother also has Crohn's and I was sick for 4 years before I was finally diagnosed. I've had 2 bowel resectionings, the first one was when I was 19 and the second one was just last year, June 20, 2011...I was 29 years old. I also found out, in 2010, that I have polycystic ovarian syndrome, after trying to have a baby for two years with no luck. I do have a question, I've been doing research on PCOS and what can help ease it, and the foods that help it, but where I have Crohn's and PCOS, the foods that help the PCOS are foods I can't eat because of the Crohn's. Does anyone have any suggestions or know other things that help? In November of 2010, I had surgery to remove all the cysts, and I just found out the cysts are back and I may have to have surgery again! I don't want to take birth control because my husband and I are trying to have a baby. What are some things I can do to try and keep the cysts from coming back so quickly and get my hormones lined out?
