taste buds

Anything I drink doesn't taste right. you know how if you eat a lemon, what it does to your mouth....well, If I drink a carbonated drink it does that to my mouth...none of my food taste right either...i know my taste buds are all messed up for some reason and have been for a few months...I have actually lost 15 pounds this summer...I do get the cimzia shots once a month and I take Omeprazole once a day. My throat hurts constantly, not sure it that has anything to do with it or not..also my tongue sometimes looks white..so do any of you have this problem??? I sure hope not because it's miserable....i am going to an ENT on Friday...I know what he's going to tell me, that i need my tonsils out...(he told me this last year) but I hear it's very painful as an adult to have that done.....any suggestions??

I had that problem for a long time after taking Flagyl..were you on that by any chance? The thrush idea makes sense too...you should check it out

I have that problem when I am beginning to flare. Once I begin to feel better, food, etc. tastes better. Also get the white tongue during these times but I think it is due to having an extra dry mouth. I brush my tongue with a toothbrush and try to increase the liquids. Good luck
