Can't believe I'm volunteering for a colonoscopy!

I'm screening to be a participant in one of the studies in which you take whipworm eggs to see if it reduces Crohn's. Part of the screening process includes a colonoscopy. I never thought I'd voluntarily undergo one, much less purposely give myself parasites, but who knows, if this "medication" works, it could be worth the weirdness!

Just thought I'd share the laugh since so many of us have had to do these stupid preps. Nothing says fun like a gallon of gatorade and mirilax!

Good luck with both the colonoscopy and the whipworms...you may save us all:)

Ask if they will script Half-Lytely as your prep instead of Miralax. Half the amount of that stuff sure beats the full amount!!!

The volume does as much of a "number" on me as the sewer water taste.
