Hi All,
Okay so quick overview. Narrowing last portion of the ileum, fissures plus a fistula with an abscess formed off it (waiting on surgery). So my bottom end wants fibre and things to move smoothly and such, but the ileum is SUPER sensitive. I have been on a low residue diet since Mid august when I was dischagred from the hopsital. My Problem is, stuff is moving, but it feels sluggish? Like allll morning i feel almost weighed down until I have a BM then I feel okay. Also bloating. I guess the frequency and consistency seem fine, I dont want to go more because of the fissure.. but need to keep things moving.. which seems to be happening, but I hate this bloated gross feeling and its sore. Any suggestions on what may help? Or a food I could try?
I really just need to use diet and such to keep things under control until my surgery and then hopefully follow up treatment with remicade. Which brings me to my next thing... My First Zumba class!!! I always wanted to try it, Have been out of the gym for months because of this aweful flare Im in, but my mind has been bored and Ive been stressed/upset with my health and needed to get out, So told my body to shut it and went for an hour zumba class. I loved it! I am so tired now. But feel ok, not sure I could do it every day. I heard exercising can help with digestion, I am really willing to try anything lol! So yes, if you get a chance to try it, go for it. Warning - I can not dance, and looked like a total fool, but had a grin on my face the whole time. It was a nice change with what has been going on, a good distraction :)
Anyway thats my question/post. Thanks for taking time to read and hope everyone had a good evening/weekend!
