I'm so sorry! When you mentioned Cold Stone, I immediately winced! Try giving up,all cow's milk and lactose-based foods (educate yourself on how to read labels) and even gluten. I think every crohn's case is unique (check out my topic ? about
citric acid), however, I do know dairy for most people with crohn"s= diarrhea and gas. I get bloody stools when I eat any cow's milk product. Most likely, your doc will say there's no proof but I convinced mine after giving up dairy and having a colonoscopy that showed no signs of active crohn's. Yes, I still have issues ... sometimes dairy/food that you're intolerant to are hard to avoid or detect! But try working om improving your diet and less on the drugs. I still need mine but use it a lot less frequently when I'm careful about
what foods i stick in my mouth. You'll notice a HUGE difference! I do feel your pain...had something tonight that caused me angst! Eating out sometimes stinks! Good luck
