how to get rid of the prednisone induced body hair

Personally I have never experience increased hair on my back, but do notice an increase of it on my face, like on my upper lip and neck. I have dark hair so the increase makes it seen easily. I usually use lemon juice or something to try and lighten it a bit. Anything I have read doesn't recommending removing it as it is hormone induced and will fall out on its own. In my experience, when i go off the prednisone it does go away.

 

I am waiting for more facial fur to show up for me right now so I can sympathize.  I agree with the others that the best thing is to wait for it to handle itself.  I did find keeping my skin very well moisturized helped tame what fur came out and seemed to lessen its obviousness.  Fortunately, I have extremely pale hair and skin so I am lucky it blends well.

It goes away on its own. Just wait
