I had to stop Humira after getting Psoriasis, Lupus, Liver Damage, Migraines and Latent TB. I'm curious has anyone else had any side effects from this drug. Humira is used to treat Lupus and Psoriasis but the warnings do indicate you can get it from taking it.

Oh and an infected growth on my adenoid that was surgically removed and grew back.

I ended up with awful migranes from Humira that would last a week after my injection. I still get them when the weather shifts now. I also developed guttate psoriasis because of it. i didn't know that was a common thing! I know it's supposed to treat psoriasis so I have no idea why it gave me it. I'm on cimzia now. Ask your GI to switch you to something else, there are a lot of options now a days

I developed DILE [drug-induced lupus] frpm Humira. I was sick for a year. Had to take multiple new meds to deal with the lupus. Off anti-TNFs for 18 months and have now been on Simponi for almost 3 1/2 years without problems.

I have had shingles on Humira and multiple outbreaks of MRSA. I have migraines and this developed after my crohns diagnosis. Now that I think about it, these migraines may have started after Remicade and just continued throughout my usage of Humira.

I've been on Humira for more than 2 years now. I take the injections weekly and luckily have not had any serious side effects. I do get migraines here and there not every time. But when I do get them they're pretty bad but they go away after about 1-2 days. But that happens maybe once every 2 months. I'm curious how long were you on Humira?

I've been on Humira for almost 2 years, with no major problems. I had one tiny (I mean less than the size of a pencil eraser) spot of psoriatic reaction that has stuck around, and I get the occasional migraine, but I had migraines before starting it too. Imitrex took care of those though.

I do worry about effectiveness. A recent colonoscopy showed that despite the Humira (which I thought was working well, all symptoms gone except the D) I now have a 7mm stricture at the T.I. (where my CD is, and only there). So, apparently it was only keeping a lid on things.

At any rate, that was my experience on it. It was much better than the Remi, which gave me a serious allergic reaction on my 4th infusion. I hope you find a med that works better for you!

RX Crohnie, I had shingles on Humira too! I was on Humira for a few years after developing a strong reaction to Remicade which I was on for many years.

I hae been on humira for 2+ years and have minor injection site reactions for 1-3 days. I also get hives. Sometimes these are following an injection, other times it seems random. I had never had hives prior to starting humira.

However, this has allowed me to have 2 beautiful children and almost remission for the past 2 years. I was on remicade until I developed anti-bodies and had to switch.
