Back again...

I haven't been online for a while, but I find myself back here almost automatically as I'm starting to be ill again! Haven't had a flare up for a while, but I don't know if it's the stress of my job (I'm a 1st yr junior doctor) or just coincidence, but I'm back having joint pain, right sided abdo pain and everything else that comes with a crohns flare up starting! Hope you're all doing ok.

Was just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience after stopping the contraceptive pill? I stopped taking mine about a fortnight ago and so wondering if it's related

No, ironically I stopped it because I thought it would be better for my health! I've been on a it several yrs and was thinking about stopping it, but the brand that I use has become discontinued so I thought it was a good time to stop, rather than risk moving to another brand on pill which could potentially not agree with me and cause a flare up. Clearly it may have back-fired!
