Today I noticed little bright red flecks on toilet paper after wiping bowel movement. I had never noticed this before.

I have been having troubles with digestion and nausea and vomiting. I have had a litttle diarrhea. Could these be related or just a coincidence?

The reason I am posting here is one MD suggested I could have Crohn's disease. I do have acid reflux. I have endoscopy scheduled for next week.

It could be... however, those are pretty common symptoms for a wide range of issues - so, your best bet is having your doctor run some tests - it's good that you have a scope scheduled! The flecks of blood on the toilet paper makes me think that you might have a fissure (small tiny cut(s) around the anus)... or, possibly a hemorrhoid.

A rare coinsurance don't think about it several days in a row, call the GI's office bend the staff's ear to pass it on to the Doc. If it's bad by their understanding they will tell you. questionable? the Doc should call if he's worried. If it will ease your mind just call the office, you'll feel better.

Before I got really bad symptoms of Crohn's (blood filling the toilet bowl over 20 times per day), I had normal BMs but I had been diagnosed with GERD 3 years before and had had a fissure the year before that, which bled into the toilet bowl. Specks of blood could be a fissure or hemerrhoids, as someone said above. The endoscopy is good, but since you're having digestive issues in addition to the vomiting, then you might want to have a colonoscopy to check that out.
