Cimzia to Humira? Dosing Humira once weekly?

Has anyone made the switch from Cimzia to Humira? Cimzia was my first biologic, and it worked well for almost 2 years but has started fading. She's considering switching me to Humira because she is more comfortable dosing it at a higher level. From what I've gleaned online Humira once every 2 weeks is roughly equivalent to Cimzia every 4 weeks, but she's comfortable doing Humira once a week as well once I get adjusted to the new drug. Anyone have experience with this? Either the switch or doing Humira once weekly?

Well, it's official. Switching to Humira on Sunday. When I got the starter pack I was pretty surprised to see a quadruple dose for the first loading dose! With Cimzia it was dosed more frequently at first, but not at a higher dose. I'm a little worried about increased side effects. I never had much trouble with the Cimzia except for a few minor infections the first couple of months I was on it. Has anyone who started Humira right after another biologic seen an increase in side effects from the high dosing at first? Also, I always injected Cimzia via syringe and I got pretty used to it, but the pharmacy told me they only do Humira starter packs in pens. Anyone have experience with both? Any advice on what the pen is like vs. the syringe?
