Messed up menstrual cycle from Budesonide (Entocort/Uceris)?

I have been put on Uceris and Entocort to control my Crohn's flare. I'm currently trying to get pregnant and we're trying to avoid going back on Methotrexate along with my Cimzia. I noticed that ever since I started the Uceris, my periods are very irregular. They are either very short or very long cycles, sometimes with bleeding in between. It's impossible to isolate ovulation etc. I see that it's a possible (rare) side effect associated with Budesonide, but I stopped the Uceris for a month and stayed on Entocort, and the cycles seemed seemed to go back to normal. Maybe it's just being on both that's overwhelming my system.

Anyone else have crazy periods from Entocort or Uceris? Any suggestions? I'm so frustrated I want to just flush them. Thanks in advance.

I was just at my GP on Monday and asked about getting my hormone levels tested since I have missed a period completely since the end of January.  He told me we could wait on the test until after I was off the budesonide since that can cause missed/irregular periods.  So I am guessing that it is more common if my GP knows about it.

Entocort usually causes heavy menstruation. I once went to the ER and was very dizzy and sufferied from low blood pressure. When they knew I had my period and I was bleeding a lot, they suspected I had a homerrhage. They ordered an INR test and it came out negative. Since then, I learnt that it was Entocort playing around. Some other times it messes up my menstruation and I either get it more than a week in advance or it is delayed.
