3 days after starting Humira my knee became sore

My GI consultant decided to start me on Humira after azathioprine wasn't being tolerated. 3 days later my left knee became swollen and very painful without any noticeable injury.
My GP ruled out a joint infection and insisted it must be injured, but 7 days later nothing has improved and I'm wondering could it be linked to Humira.
If it was due to Humira would it not effect both knees and will it ease as my body gets use to the new medication.

I have had crohns for 12 years, my children call me "bubble guts". I hate having this disease. I hate the noises my insides make when I am speaking to people. I hate the pain, not being able to work, running to the toilet umpteen times a day, the depression, the swelling, not knowing where the toilet is always, running out of toilet paper, the not knowing if I am going to run to the toilet when out for dinner, the inability of eating certain foods that are going to make everything worse, being scared of using a toilet outside of the home, the pain brought on by the drugs the doctors give me, being scared of travelling because of unknown areas, not knowing if my insurance protection payments are going to continue. Yes, I look healthy on the outside, but inside, my joints are aching, my muscles hurt, I am often asked "when is your baby due?". I don't have any energy, it takes me 2 hours to get out of bed (and yes, accidents occur), if I stay still for more than 20 minutes then I can't move. I won't win any marathons to get to the toilet because everything else hurts. I can't make love to my husband because of the pain, that kills me. I am so very, very sad. I cry alot. I just wish this horrible disease would go away. I hate it. And, I lost my job because my employer couldn't cope with my hospital absences, or the fact I was in the toilet so often.

Hi guysfeelgood, my diet is pretty bland now, just easy to digest things and lots of water, if I try eating anything with fibre in it I end up in huge pain with massive visits to the toilet. I do eat yoghurt. Have just had 2 nights with major shin and thigh pain, and my joint pain is also rising causing walking and movement issues, so heading to doctor today to (hopefully) find out what that is. Under the care of a gp, gastroenterologist and rheumatologist...... money is a problem as I can't work and I am under close scrutiny from the income protection people and my husband is out of work, so I try to limit doctor visits to whenever things are really bad. We have maintained our private health insurance by going without any sort of luxuries and I am lucky that my husband is happy to work around my diet with me. My vit D should be ok as I do get about 20 minutes of sunshine a day, can't spend too much time outside because of the methotrexate which makes my skin burn easily.
