Ohk, I know this is a pretty basic question, but I'm really curious. Was just going through my colonoscopy report yesterday and I found a part of my ileum having this really thick yellow lining which I missed out on earlier. Plus there was something else wrong with that part, but I dunno what exactly it is.
That's what got me thinking. Crohn’s is basically defined as an autoimmune disorder where the immune system attacks our intestines and causes inflammation. So why isn't the affected area, i dunno 'red' or 'eaten up' or something, why the yellow nodules? Why are they a characteristic feature of Crohn's Syndrome?
