It sounds like tenesmus which occurs with rectal inflammation. Sorry for the crudeness but when I experience this, it feels like someone's fist is in my rectum. The pressure is unbearable and at times, the only way for me to pass gas is to sit on the toilet. Are you having pain with your BMs? If you truly have rectal inflammation, you would need rectal meds.
No pain during my BMs as of yet, just a constant pressure in my behind. Using the bathroom does make the discomfort go away though, but it's only temporary(usually comes back within the hour). What type of meds would I need?
