I haven't been on for a yr a least. Last time i had adhesion obstruction. Was wondering if anybody using the oil or tincture with any success. I've been in total remission for 1 yr and about three weeks, tried apriso after hosp. No success, just horrific side effects. I do have issues with removal of 8 1/2 ft of small bowel, but i use tincture that i cook and grow the meds, i use 1 dropper everyday, have not had any pain, nothing for 1 yr. i eat everything but green leafy, no other meds.forgot to say i am federally disabled from cd, or the effects of post surgery.

Hey mike: thrilled that it helps, it does give me lots of really good energt, not speed type, just good energt, hard to explain, i also have perfected my grow, and have been doing alot of pollinateing, and finally got a really good strain, that works fantastic on my cd. Haven't taken pain med for over a yr. i have seeds for five yr's worth of my meds.

Relaxrd, sounds like you are perfect canidate for tincture or oil. Oil is more expensive to produce and a bit dangerous. If you buy flowers i can walk you thru how to make it, by phone is best, because you need to activate your med in oven for 3 1/2 minutes at 325 degrees, then put it in alcohol, (everclear) its hard at first, deakon is good as well, i helped him as well. 1/8 flower makes 1 oz of tincture, one months worth. I make 1/2 oz of the best flowers i have, makes 4 oz of tincture, 4 months worth

Just depends on what you're looking for...there's plenty of good research(yet still woefully less than there should be) on the web concerning the different medicinal properties for the different chemical compounds in cannabis.  THC, THCa, CBD, CBDa, and CBN...etc.  These all have therapeutic if not healing properties.  Tinctures are available as the local pot shops/dispensaries in both medical and recreational formats.  The different edibles are the best in my mind because more of the compounds make it to the intestines.  Blue Kudu chocolate or StarBars are the best bet, best dosage is 10mg (the pieces are individual marked at 10 mg) every 4-6 hours... well the best for me as it helps with pain and inflammation but doesn't make me feel stoned.  They also make sublingual drops which work wondrously, and you can really dial in your dosages for the best therapeutic/functionality ratio.  When researching the difference between THC and THCa, I found that there is a contingent of patients who juice raw cannabis or eat the buds in salads or other non-dried or smoked ways.  This increases the intake of the less psychoactive form that also helps heal.  So in Colorado we have it in the law that we can have 6 plants, and I plan to try the juicing route to see how that goes.
