CCK gallbladder ultrasound experiences?

Im 15, and being scheduled for a Gallbladder CCK ultrasound sometime this week. Sadly i won't be fortunate enough to be able to have the CCK injected in an IV and will have to drink it. Has anyone else had to drink it? Is it super yucky?
I've been having horrible abdominal cramps do you think the CCK is going to make this painful for me?
Are there any side effects of the CCK? Please feel free to share your stories! Thank you!! :-)

In the US this is called a HIDA scan I think.

Different than a HIDA scan. Here are my comments about my HIDA scan:

The contrast solution didn't cause any bowel distress for me. The stimulation med causes cramping but it is no worse than period cramps.

The technician and I had a good laugh over that one. Apparently it makes men cry. The women don't find it any problem. :-)

Is this the same thing as an upper endoscopic ultrasound? Where the ultrasound itself goes down your throat to look at things from the inside? I had one to look at my pancreas when they couldn't get my pancreatitis to calm down.

This is probably a little late. I had one a few years back. It was a walk in the park. Crohn's cramping dwarfs the cramping you get from this test. As for making men cry, wow, just wow. If that's enough to make non-Crohn's men cry how fragile must my unafflicted brethren be?
