Hola everyone I'm finally back!
I had eleven days in the hole (hospital) this time, but it seems to have worked out ok and now I'm back home. I think I told you all about
the spreading a bit, we caught (last Tues) a tiny tumor on the brain, fortunately very early. So yesterday I got the radiation treatment to hopefully shoot that and kill it off. I'll find out next week when the Neuro will re-evaluate and see if it's gone. Meanwhile the headaches and odd pulses are better, though I'm a bit wobbly on my feet.
Then of course the heart freeked out and I spent the remainder of the visit in the Heart Wing visiting with the nice nurses over there. There was a rapid beat and arrhythmia, both of which they got sorted out - yay for more new meds now!
Remember that this is National Nurses Week so go love on a nurse if you know one, they are amazing people in a difficult and emotional job and I for one have had call to be grateful for their loving care a lot lately.
Still - SO glad to be home and see my own front door :)
Also, my sisters (who are lovely but embarrassing) have helped me put up a gofundme, which has been very kind of them and has reconnected me with some old friends, for which I'm very grateful.
All of this does make me really count my blessings, and I'm humble and grateful for all the new friends that I've made along the way this year. You here are very much included in that, thank you all
