Well, today was a first... I went to see a pain management Dr to hopefully schedule some steroid injections into my Si joints or other lower back joints and I walked out feeling defeated. I've had this constant daily low back pain for 7 months. I have seen my Gi & pcp for it, we all agree it's related to my crohns. I'm on cimzia & my Gi symptoms are fairly controlled right now. I have had to take low dose Percocet & that only lowers the pain a little. The pain dr acted like I was only there for more pain meds, even though I didn't ask for them. He is making me try physical therapy first before he will do an mri or any injections or other treatment. I could just cry. I've tried 2 rounds of prednisone hoping it would knock out whatever inflammation is nagging my back with no relief. I got into PT this evening and my back hurts so much worse I can't even sleep. Lying here with my heating pad wondering what the heck else to do. Selfishly hoping I'm not the only one....
